Using patterns

Patterns, charts, templates and PDFs from this site are for your personal use. You may print them and make the items.

You may sell finished items you make by hand from our patterns. Please credit Hook&Seam as the pattern source when you can.

You may not sell, repost, translate or share our patterns, PDFs or images, in whole or in part, without written permission. Link to the pattern page instead.

Pictures you upload

The image pattern tool works in your browser and we do not receive your picture. Use only pictures you own or have permission to use. You confirm this before adding a picture, and you are responsible for the pictures you use. See our picture policy.

Accuracy

Patterns are calculated and may contain mistakes. Sizes and yarn amounts are estimates. Work a swatch and check your work before you cut fabric or buy materials.

Safety

You are responsible for the safety of what you make. Do not use safety eyes, buttons or other small parts on items for children under 3. Check the rules that apply before you sell toys or children's items.

Our content

The site's content, logo and pattern tool belong to Hook and Seam or its licensors.
